Aldea Coffee

Proudly serving Aldea Coffee which provides ethically sourced coffee direct from farmers in Honduras to be roasted and brewed here in West Michigan.

Responsible Consumption

‍We seek to make sure our impact on the earth is minimal. We do this by collaborating with Aldea—a fair trade organization who deeply cares for the farmers and the process of growing coffee; by using reusable products; and by composting and recycling.

Community

We are a vehicle

‍The Community House and the experiences are simply a tool for meaningful, lifegiving interactions for our city, leading to impact beyond our building.

People are what matter

‍We want people to be seen as they truly are: valuable, wanted, and needed in community. We want each encounter to be the best part of our customer’s day.

Open Mic Night & Karaoke

Have you been looking for a space to share your gift with the world, or listen and support local talent? The Community House has created the space for you! We invite you to join us every other Friday night for Open Mic and Karaoke Night. Those who hit the stage are welcome to perform 1-3 pieces, be it songs, poems, spoken word, rap, or karaoke track. We only ask that the language and content are suitable for all ages.

11th Annual Roodmont Egg Hunt

Hello Roodmont neighborhood and friends!We invite you to join us for our 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 13th, from 2-4pm at the "Triangle" in the middle of the neighborhood. This will be a great time to reconnect after winter and have some fun with the kids. There will be food, kids activities, and of course, the Egg Hunt which will begin at 2:30pm. Please come early to register and enjoy a great time!

And while you browse, enjoy a tasty treat from the coffee bar! We brew locally roasted Aldea Coffee and proudly serve our own house-made seasonal syrups. Mark April 19th on your calendar and plan to join us for a day of creativity, community, and the joyful spirit of spring!
